  • Prostate (and/or G-spot) stimulation with gentle vibration
  • Slim toys for anal play
  • Varied vibration settings
Pros:

  • Safe, easily washable silicone material
  • 7 vibration programs
  • Shape allows for easy use
Cons:

  • May be too small for 'advanced' users
  • Motor could be stronger
  • No-frills control options
Now let's get into the nitty gritty...

Materials & Workmanship (5 pearls): Silicone, which is always great to see.  Top of the line for safety, non-porous, which makes it great for cleanup.  The material is very silky and smooth, which feels nice, and came in handy as we'll talk more about later...

Aesthetic Appeal (4 pearls):  It's sleek and slim, a nice deep blue color, and fairly elegant looking for what it is.  There's no mistaking it for a toy, but it's on the abstract side.  Packaging is simple and no frills, just a plastic shell with a card insert.

Features (3 pearls):  The vibe portion has 7 settings - low, medium, high, and then a variety of pulsing / variation settings.  This seems like a pretty fair number.  Unfortunately, the only way to cycle through them is one at a time, so if you wanted to go, say, from high to medium, you'd have to go all the way around.  Also unfortunately, the motor's not terribly powerful.  Obviously, people's mileage will vary a bit, but I found the highest settings just barely high enough for my liking, and the lower ones...  pleasant enough, but not exactly effective.

Fun (5 pearls):  It's fun.  :-)  We've played plenty of times in the past with anal stimulation for both of us, but this is our first prostate massager.  As frances wrote last week, unfortunately, the day we had set aside to test out our new plaything, we left our lube in our suitcase.  Fortunately, between the smooth material, the slim profile, and a little liquid assistance from frances, we were still able to make good use of it.  Based on that, I'd say it would make a great toy for beginners.  And while I can't say it worked miracles on its own, it definitely enhanced my enjoyment of our other activities.  ;-)

"Mystery Category" (2 pearls):  A positive and a negative here.  While edenfantasys markets this specifically as a prostate toy, the package identifies it as a combination P/G spot toy.  We found it a little slim for frances, but still, bonus points for a little off-label versatility.  And a small gripe, this is one of a growing number of toys we've found that take a stack of watch batteries, rather than something more affordable and more common like a AA.  I can't say for sure how the battery life is (we haven't killed a set yet), but it does make each fresh set a bit of an investment.
